Philip is our newest addition to the platform development team. He is a senior Python, C++ and Java developer who loves writing well-designed software. He says: “I chose ParaPy because when I met the team it was obvious they also shared my passion for that.” And we do!  

He especially liked that ParaPy has a bold vision for the future. Combined with the right skills and eagerness to learn more, he was just the perfect fit. He also thinks: “the people are really friendly,” and we like to think so too.  

He says working from home is not bad, he saves 2 hours on commuting as he lives in Amsterdam and, I quote, “I can cook for lunch!”. He believes working is easy with videoconferencing anyway.  

When asked about a fun fact he responded: “An interesting fact? I am really into rock climbing and mountaineering. I think I am in the wrong country….” Thankfully, there are many climbing gyms here in The Netherlands!
